With a policy of putting on only the best national and international touring bands, and supporting up and coming local bands (whilst keeping prices as low as possible), Deadpunk Promotions has managed to attract a regular crowd of loyal followers whilst providing something for everyone within the Punk, Ska and Hardcore scene. Bands who have played Bristol through Deadpunk Promotions include Anti Flag, Agnostic Front, The Locust, RX Bandits, Raised Fist, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Throwdown, The Toasters, Satanic Surfers and many more. The Croft Matt - http://www.the-croft.com / matt_otridge_at_hotmail_dot_com The Croft tends to hire out the majority of dates to external promoters who all specialize in different fields / certain genres. We think that this works well because it's likely that a promoter who has booked one gig a week / month is likely to be able to promote that gig better than us if we're trying to promote gigs seven nights a week. We offer the external promoters advice and extra promotion for their gigs. On the nights that haven't been hired out we put on local line ups. If you are in a band local to Bristol (sorry but this not include the surrounding areas) then please get in touch and we should be able to sort you out a gig. If you are from a band outside of Bristol then unfortunately we cannot help you, but please feel free to get in touch with any of the other external promoters who use this venue as the majority of them will book out of town bands. We feel as though this policy benefits The Croft, the bands and the promoters as no-one wants to lose money or play an empty venue.
